- Yes, agreed about 3D, although the 1x1 mode isn't well exploited in other parts
- of the screen but the center.
-
- What about having an "install disk", with 1x1 textures, then just install on
- hard disk (or floppy disk :P ) only the files you need. In the case of
- textures, you could just interpolate every 4 pixels to get 2x2 textures from
- 1x1 and you're done, and still minimize disk usage in only floppy-disk users.
-
- I wish anyone would have a HD.. weird but true many A1200 base users (surely
- not in the Internet) dont have it, but we've to respect also this side of the
- Amiga, providing a usable computer also to who can't afford expansions (as many
- "kids", maybe appassionates as much as many of us about the Amiga).
-
- Anyway, things can be worked out if one plans it from the beginning; I'll not
- make anymore games that you can play immediately, you'll have to install them
- before to HardDisk or FloppyDisk, with only the pieces your configuration needs.
-
- Creating a sort of "PlayDisk": no need to waste ram and disk usage with 68060
- code or 1x1 textures on a low-end Amiga.
